Grade R Admissions process 2024

(2024 Admissions Process)
Grade R Application forms for 2024 may be submitted from the 27th of February.

Please find important dates below : –

13 February 2023 – Open Day

27th February – Grade R 2024 Application OPEN – Application Forms may now be submitted.

Kindly complete the application form and submit with the following:
a) child’s unabridged birth certificate
b) biological or adoptive parents or legal guardians Identity documents
c) child’s latest nursery school report
d) child’s medical immunization form
e) proof of parents residential and work address

27th February to 28th April 2023 – Application forms are to be submitted at the school

• Submit application forms with supporting documents to the school office
• School to issue receipt of acknowledgement.
• No wait-list number will be issued. Applications will be considered as per the Grade R policy. Please ensure your application form is submitted with the certified copies of the following documents:
• Certified Unabridged Birth certificate;
• Proof of both parents identity and the child’s residence or his/ her parents work address;
• Where the parent is not the natural parent of the child, documentation supporting the parent’s legal relationship with the learner;
• In the case of admission to a primary school proof that the child has been immunized against polio, measles, tuberculosis, diphtheria, tetanus, and hepatitis B; ( GRD R  – children will not have had their immunizations required at when they reach 6 years)
• Where a learner, seeks placement on a waiting list on the basis of a sibling relationship, documentation showing proof of such relationship is required.
• In the case of a non- citizen proof that the parents & child have the necessary documentation to live/work in SA.

01 May 2023 – 12 May 2023 

• Applications will be assessed as per the Grade R admission policy.

15 May 2023 – 26 May 2023

• Applicant’s parents will be notified whether the application has been successful or unsuccessful.
• Parents notify the school whether they are accepting the position.

ADMISSION FOR 2024 – GRADE 1

Grade 1 Online Applications for 2024 will commence 15th June 2023 – 14 July 2023.

• Grade 1 Admission: Online applications via Gauteng Department of Education Website only.
• Grade 1 Applications are strictly done online and not at school. The school does not provide application forms for Grade 1
